INTERNSHIP
Requirements:
. Strong Graphic and design talent;
. Familiarity with Rhino;
. Rendering Skills is a plus;
. Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD;
. Fluency in written and spoken English;
. Revit knowledge will be a plus;
. Continuous availability of 6 months is a must;
PRESS OFFICER
Requirements:
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
. A natural social disposition;
. Strong graphic skills such as video editing, etc;
. Hands-on experience with digital media, such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkdin, company’s website, etc;
. Ability to build good working relationships at all levels, internally and externally;
. Perfect English is essential and at least one other language. Portuguese is particularly desirable;
. Ability to work conscientiously and precisely, often under pressure and with tight deadlines;
. An understanding of architecture and the economic and political environments in which OODA operates;
. Ability to manage sensitive and often confidential information;
Key responsibilities:
. Cultivating and maintaining good relationships with members of the press
. Being in charge of OODA’s digital media presence
. Creating and disseminating information about OODA, both written and visual, including publications, press releases, and project texts
. Creating content for OODA’s website and social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc)
. Working closely with colleagues across all levels and departments, to understand fully what is happening within OODA;
JUNIOR ARCHITECT:
. A professional degree in architecture and 0-3 years professional experience as a junior designer;
. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English- spoken and written;
. Strong conceptual and design skills;
. Ability to develop design options in collaboration with and for consideration of design team;
. Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project;
. Should have strong ability with AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite (Revit and Lumion is a plus);
. Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and budget own time;
. Willingness to take on constructive guidance in response to direction from managers;
. A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working;
. Experience working in a international architecture office is preferred;
ARCHITECT:
. Bachelor’s or equivalent professional degree in Architecture or related field
. 3-7 years professional experience as a designer;
. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English- spoken and written;
. Strong conceptual and design skills;
. The ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team;
. The ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project;
. Strong skills with AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite and Revit (Lumion is a plus);
. Strong organizational skills, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and budget time;
. Ability to take initiative in response to direction from managers;
. A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working;
. Experience as a designer on built and published references;
. Experience working in a international architecture office;
