Urban water lilies
The urban plan was based on a cellular matrix created from the abstraction of a water lily flower. All the ground floor accesses to the housing units, along with all the sports, agricultural and public spaces are set in water, like a floating water lily pad. In that sense, the housing blocks are the exceptional forms, with a more vertical character, although they are also related with the water lily concept.
