Construction has begun on the Hora Vertikale Towers in Tirana, Albania. The 55,000 square metre project, designed by OODA, is the first building by a Portuguese studio in the country and will be a 140 metre high ‘vertical village’ integrated into a large green park.
Using local materials and inspired by the dynamic energy of Tirana, the project contributes to the city’s rapid transformation, alongside works by MVRDV, Bjarke Ingels and Stefano Boeri.
