Located in Campo dos Mártires da Pátria in Lisbon, this Baroque ecclesiastical palace, attributed to João Frederico Ludovice and António Mateus Vicente, was built in 1730.
A remarkable example of the civil architecture of the period, this building is characterized by the use of Baroque architectural elements that enrich the main facade and the interior—most notably the circulation axis defined by the atrium, staircase, and vestibules, as well as the second-floor rooms running along the main elevation.

The surrounding context is a mixed-use environment with universities, schools, markets, and residential developments. The project introduces public squares and circulation routes to connect these functions and reinforce integration.
The design follows a modular grid, facilitating prefabrication, construction efficiency, and adaptability. Environmental strategies focus on local materials, indoor comfort, and air quality, contributing to the project’s identity.
