We are a team of over 40 collaborators from different nationalities working on a wide range of projects with different scales and programs, from singular houses to large scale residential buildings and hotels, institutional buildings to masterplans.
Established in 2010, OODA came about as a result of the reunion between Diogo Brito and Rodrigo Vilas-Boas. Francisco Lencastre joined the office in 2011, initially based in the historical city centre of Porto. In 2018 João Jesus and Julião Pinto Leite joined to expand OODA to five partners.
In 2014, OODA moved to a converted former industrial warehouse in Matosinhos, the site of the heydays of the canning and commercial activities resulting from the rail and port connections, providing office space on two floors. Crossing the door, the atrium is wide, informal and cozy. The encounter between the local and the international is evident in the accommodating environment.
Recently, OODA has expanded their facilities and currently has three offices with two in Matosinhos, Porto, and one in Lisbon. In the near future, we aim to expand internationally, namely New York, São Paulo and Shanghai.
